Purchased for Radar use only and have no intentions of utilizing the Aimbot or ESP features at any point. As such, the review is only related to the Radar feature.
Radar Rating: 8/10
Overall, the radar provides adequate insight as to the direction in which players are located, though the actual distance and exact location is vague enough to force the player to actively locate then enemy which provides a more "legit" feel when being spectated by those you've eliminated. The reason for the 8 rating is that there are still certain features that prevent it from being perfect. Those are:
- Late game: Once the final zone radar system activates, it is best to completely ignore PA's radar as it is less accurate than the in-game system. Not a huge issue, since you don't really need 3rd party once the in-game activates.
- Lingering dots: Upon eliminating enemy players, their dot remains until that player leaves the game. This can be distracting when multiple combatants are within your set "range". However, there is a slight benefit to this as well. I've noticed that there are times when the enemy players "dot" moves from the location where they were killed and now become centered on you. I am guessing that this is because that player is now spectating you. If that is the case, it allows you to play legit (sort of) for a short time till they lose interest. I can't confirm that this is the case, but possible. That said, for those players who do not spectate nor leave right away, having that dot remain on the radar can be confusing at times.
- Squads: In squad games, teammates dots appear the same as the enemy. During CQC, this can be confusing, so it would be great to see an option to change the dot color of teammates. That said, the benefit to this is that it again can provide a semblance of legit play since you have to be more aware of your surroundings than relying solely on the radar.
Security Rating: 10/10
Security rating is kind of an all or nothing to a degree. As of now, I've yet to receive a ban or suspension, though I only use the in-game radar and make it a point to play as inconspicuous as possible. I'm not interested in fully testing the security of the system by raging with aimbot or wall tracing with ESP, but for the way I utilize the system, the security has been spot on.
All that said, I would recommend to anyone wanting to utilize the radar feature. Happy with the decision to go with PA on this!
