I got it strictly for pve and I'm impressed, godmode, flying and noclip work really well. Soloed Master nightfall at 990 light without having an elite streamer build, just a nova warlock with a sidearm, sword and Devil Ruin. Also had fun exploring hidden areas with noclip. I wish there was something to help you melt bosses fast, like each shot dealing 999999 damage or rapid fire special/heavy with infinite ammo, or infinite super. Maybe a way to freeze timers also (whisper/outbreak/menagerie). Overall it's great, it's like I'm playing a totally different game.

Is the godmode just infinite health/shields? I'd just like to know this before making a purchase.

It's different, it respawns you instantly where you died without wipe screen and losing your progress.
