First off, I just wanna say, my chances for getting an invite might get fucked for posting an honest 3 star review, but this is truly what I think (current state of the SOT cheat) and I believe it is reflective in the SOT VIP forum poll below.

ESP

Although the ESP comes with an abundance of options, there are many glaring issues I've experienced while using it.

Bugs

Common X ESP - The "X marks the spot" treasure ESP is currently broken, it shows all over the map, yet when dug, does not have a treasure buried by it. It has been like this over a week now, based on the other forum threads, seems like this bug has existed for slightly over a month now and has yet to be fixed.

Storage ESP - The Storage ESP is also currently broken, and the [STORAGE] markings on the ESP would disappear randomly as you approached the storage. This also meant that you had to search for the storage yourself after getting an idea of where it is near, because it would just disappear on you.

Missing Features

NPC ESP -  As a game that is 80% PvE, I find it unthinkable that ESP for Main Quest NPCs and general NPCs is not a thing at all. This also meant that as you approached different islands, you will have to figure for yourself where these NPCs are located.

AIMBOT

The aimbot works like you'd expect an aimbot to work... except a few problems...

1. The lowest smoothing on the aimbot is "2", and when set to "2", the aimbot cannot properly track moving targets on ships at times.

2. The aimbot has no bullet drop prediction

3. The aimbot has no bullet travel (horizontal) prediction.

4. The aimbot does not activate at all for entities like the Megalodon/ Kraken/ Common sharks in the sea...

Commendation for this cheat:

1. Cannonball prediction tool (ESP) - This prediction marker allows you to predict where cannonballs will land, and give you an edge in Ship vs Ship PVP battles and allow you to try to sink your enemies as fast as you can (by hitting their lower decks accurately) or hitting their upper decks with a special cannonball with effects.

2. Undetected (I have not been banned as of today)

Afterthoughts: I feel like this cheat was made incomplete, published and currently left on the shelf. I've heard that the X ESP has not been fixed for about a month, maybe more now. Based on forum logs, it seems like we're getting very little updates from the developer too.

I believe PerfectAim has the capability to go further based on the cheats they have previously released - Realm Royale, etc. But for now, my subscription on SOT will probably not get renewed until an update from the cheat developer.

Lastly, if you've made this far, whether you are an admin, staff or a common PA member like me... I thank you for reading my heartfelt testimonial. For the past few days, all I've seen in the testimonials section were 5 star Sea of Thieves reviews... the poll in the VIP Sea of Thieves section clearly reflects the opposite. I don't believe in selling the website a 5 star testimonial in hopes of getting an invite here in the future. I've chosen to stay real. Cheers!

Good, honest review @Athena - and to be honest, I appreciate you listing the issues with the cheat that have been circulating on the forums the past couple months, maybe even since release. I wholeheartedly agree that SoT is in need of some major updates to be brought up to the same quality as, say, the CSGO Multihack level. I'm sure the devs have their hands full and appreciate an update wouldn't come as quick as we would like, but I don't think they'd leave SoT behind like that so it might just be a matter of time. Especially since most of these issues are being reported by other users quite often.

That said, I don't think it will affect your chances at an invite whatsoever. You've given some constructive criticism and compiled popular issues from various other posts. It's a plus, so good job.
