I followed steps exactly to the T but it won't work no matter what I try the launcher works as it should but in game nothing 

I have not tried destiny 2 but I am sure it works correctly. make sure that you are doing everything right and that your antivirus is turned off. Check that your operating system is compatible and note that destiny 2 is not compatible with Shadow cloud gaming.

Just follow the instructions clearly. Unless your system doesn't match minimum requirements, you should have no problem.

That should address most problems that may occur when downloading for the first time. A common mistake is when people forget to turn off windows secure boot. 

Make sure also that you're on the right windows version. Update to the most recent if you haven't yet.

Other than this, double check the common recommendations in case you missed something. If the problem persists; create a support ticket to receive help from the developers themselves.

I've got Destiny 2 and it works flawlessly! 

Just follow the instructions, place it on an external drive and remember to eject when prompted to.

Have you tried checking your OS is compatible with this version of the cheat? Open the run dialog (Win key + R), then insert this: "winver" - the second line down shows your exact Windows build, check on the Destiny 2 information page if this build is supported.
